01 / About this service

Replace once, replace everything that failed

The honest test for replacement is simple: is the fault local, or is the whole system tired? A leaking union or a loose bracket is a repair. uPVC that has gone brittle and chalky after 25 years, cast iron rusted through at the back where you cannot see it, or a run that has lost its fall along its whole length is a replacement — and patching those piece by piece costs more than doing it once.

Replacement is also where the hidden damage shows up. Years of overflow rot the fascia board from the back, and a new gutter cannot be fixed to failed timber. That is why we price the whole roofline when the boards need it: strip the old gutters and fascia, treat and check the rafter feet, fit new fascia and vented soffit, then hang the new gutter system on sound fixings at the correct fall.

Every full gutter or roofline replacement we complete carries our Lifetime Leak Guarantee, and all installation work carries a 10-year written workmanship guarantee. Repairs and partial work carry the 10-year guarantee only — we will tell you which applies before you say yes.

07 / FAQ

Questions, answered.

Should I repair or replace my gutters?

If the fault is local — one leaking union, one loose bracket — repair is the honest answer and we will quote it that way. If the material is at the end of its life or the whole run has lost its fall, replacement is cheaper than repairing piece by piece. Our survey says which, in writing.

Do you replace fascia and soffit with the gutters?

Yes, and where the fascia is rotten it is the only right way to do the job, because new gutters cannot be fixed to failed timber. A full roofline on a 3-bed semi is typically 2–4 days.

What is the Lifetime Leak Guarantee?

It covers leaks on every full gutter or roofline replacement we complete. It does not cover repairs or partial work, which carry the 10-year workmanship guarantee instead.

How much does gutter replacement cost?

Indicative 2026 ranges for a 3-bed semi: uPVC €950–€1,900, seamless aluminium €1,900–€3,400, full roofline €2,800–€5,500. VAT at 13.5% applies to residential work. Full detail in the cost guide.

Will you remove the old gutters?

Yes. Removal and disposal of the old gutters and fascia is included in the price.
