Real gutter jobs,
told straight.

Every study here is built from footage we actually hold. We have no per-job invoice values or signed customer quotes for these jobs, so none are shown. Each study names where the job was; a few are recent work outside Dublin, included as proof of the work, not as a list of places we serve.

Heritage Cast Iron Assessment

Cast iron gutter crisis at a historic Kerry church

Kerry · August 2026

The problem

Failing cast iron guttering on a historic church — a building where the wrong material going back up is a permanent decision, and where the consequences of overflow land on stonework rather than render.

What we did

Full assessment of the cast iron system and what it would take to put right.

What it shows

On a protected or historic building the survey matters more than the labour. What gets specified is what that building lives with for the next fifty years.

Fascia Repair & Gutter Service

Fascia board repair and gutter service — Galway city centre

Galway City Centre · August 2026

The problem

A damaged fascia board and a gutter run needing service in Galway city centre — a repair-scope job, not a replacement one.

What we did

Fascia board repaired and the gutter run serviced.

What it shows

Not every roofline needs replacing. This one needed a repair and a service, and that is what it got.

Cast Iron Gutter Repair & Welding

Cast iron gutters saved, not replaced — Sisters of Mercy, Limerick

Sisters of Mercy, Limerick · August 2026

The problem

A classic cast iron gutter run on the Sisters of Mercy building in Limerick, with failed brackets and damaged sections. The straightforward commercial answer is to strip cast iron off and put PVC up. On a building like this one, that is the wrong answer and it is not reversible.

What we did

Custom brackets fabricated on site, precision welding to the existing runs, and a full restoration of the original cast iron rather than a replacement.

What it shows

Cast iron can nearly always be repaired by someone willing to fabricate and weld on site. It is slower than ripping it off, and it is the difference between keeping a period building's roofline and losing it permanently.

Client: Congregation of the Sisters of Mercy, Limerick — A period institutional building where the original cast iron roofline is part of the fabric. Restored rather than replaced.

Fascia, Soffit & Guttering Replacement

Rotten timber behind a Stillorgan roofline

Stillorgan, Dublin · July 2026

The problem

Sagging gutters and a roofline that looked tired from the ground. What the ground never shows is the timber behind it. Once the old fascia came off, the boards underneath were rotten and the gutters had pulled away from them — which is why they were sagging in the first place.

What we did

Full strip of the old fascia, soffit and guttering, replacement of the rotten timber behind it, and a complete new PVC fascia, soffit and gutter system fitted end to end. Walked through on site with the customer when it was finished.

What it shows

A sagging gutter is almost never a gutter problem. It is a timber problem wearing a gutter as a disguise, and re-hanging the gutter on rotten board buys about a winter.

Roofline Replacement

Black fascia, soffit and gutter replacement — Terenure, Dublin

Terenure, Dublin · July 2026

The problem

A tired roofline on a Dublin home, replaced end to end rather than patched section by section.

What we did

Full black fascia, soffit and gutter replacement.

What it shows

Replacing a roofline in one go costs less than replacing it in three visits, because the access is paid for once instead of three times.

Roofline Replacement

Guttering, soffit and fascia transformation — North Dublin

North Dublin · July 2026

The problem

A full roofline at the end of its life in North Dublin, filmed before the work started.

What we did

Complete guttering, soffit and fascia replacement.

What it shows

The before shot is the useful one. Anybody can photograph a finished roofline; the value is in showing what it looked like the day we arrived.
