Gutter installation
done properly.
New guttering for extensions, garages, new builds and houses that never had it done right. Falls set, outlets sized, brackets at the right centres — and a written 10-year guarantee.
A new gutter run is a drainage job, not a clip-on job
Fitting guttering to a new extension, a garage, a conservatory eaves or a freshly re-roofed house looks simple from the ground. It is not. A gutter that holds water, sags between brackets or overshoots in a downpour was usually wrong the day it went up — the fall was never set, the outlet was too small for the roof feeding it, or the brackets were spaced for convenience rather than load.
We design each run before we fit it. That means working out how much roof drains to each outlet, setting the fall so water actually travels to the downpipe, and choosing brackets, unions and corners that suit the profile you have chosen. Outlets and downpipes are sized to current rainfall-intensity standards (BS EN 12056), not to whatever was left on the van.
Most new installations in Ireland are uPVC, which is light, corrosion-proof and the most economical. Where a house is exposed, the roof is large, or you simply want to fit gutters once and forget them, seamless aluminium is rolled on site to the exact length of each run so there are no joints along it. We will say plainly which suits your house and budget.
What we can do for you.
uPVC half-round or deep-flow
The workhorse for Irish homes. Half-round suits most houses; deep-flow carries more water on large or steep roofs.
uPVC square box-section or ogee
A crisper modern edge, or a moulded period-style line where the house calls for it.
Seamless aluminium
Rolled on site from coil to the exact length of each run — no joints along it. Our recommendation for exposed and coastal sites.
Downpipes, hoppers and guards
Sized to the catchment, with leaf guards where trees overhang. See gutter systems for the full range.

Questions, answered.
How long does a gutter installation take?
A typical 3-bed semi takes one to two days for a uPVC or aluminium system. Larger houses and heritage buildings take longer and are quoted after a survey.
Which gutter profile should I choose?
Half-round is the usual choice for older homes and most semis. Deep-flow suits big or steep roofs. Square box-section gives a modern look. Ogee suits period houses. We will recommend one after seeing the house.
Do you fit gutters on extensions and garages only?
No — we fit complete systems on whole houses as well as extensions, garages, outbuildings and commercial buildings across Dublin.
Is the installation guaranteed?
Yes. Installation work carries our 10-year written workmanship guarantee. A full gutter or roofline replacement also carries our Lifetime Leak Guarantee.
What does it cost?
Our indicative 2026 range for a uPVC system on a 3-bed semi is €950–€1,900 and seamless aluminium is €1,900–€3,400. Your quote is confirmed free after a survey. See the gutter cost guide.
